VIJAY’S PULI TO BE OUT IN THEATRES ON INDEPENDENCE DAY

Contrary to earlier reports which said that Vijay’s upcoming Chimbu Deven-directed Puli would be releasing on his birthday on 22nd June, it is now said that the film’s release has been postponed by two months to release on 15th August, the Independence Day.

The film’s shoot has been wrapped after the last schedule of shoot which was held recently in Cambodia and Bulgaria. Post-production work including adding background score has commenced for which Chimbu Deven and Devi Sri Prasad have been working non-stop.

Former Kollywood queen Sridevi plays a significant role in the film which has Shruti Haasan, Hansika, Nandita Swetha, Sudeep, Vijayakumar, Thambi Ramaiah, ‘Aadukalam’ Naren, Sathyan, Karunasand ‘Robot’ Shankar in prominent roles. As per available reports, Vijay plays dual roles in the film, one of them being that of a dwarf.

Chimbu Deven has been planning the film as an action-packed ‘fantasy film’ which has been produced by Vijay’s manager Selvakumar.
